The Housing, Homelessness, and Tenants' Rights

Committee meets monthly to discuss ways to help our unhoused stakeholders on a hyper-local level, as well as on a city-wide level. This committee also encompasses initiatives aimed to help stakeholders at risk of homelessness and concerns relating to tenants' rights.

Tenants’ Rights Clinics

from the Coalition for Economic Survival 

 

Receive one-on-one counseling from volunteer

tenants’ rights attorneys. 

Every Saturday at 10 a.m. (except holidays).

You must register on Zoom. To join a CES Tenants’ Rights Zoom Clinic, email to request the registration link at HelpingLARenters@gmail.com. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

 

Can’t make it to a Zoom workshop?

Send an email to HelpingLARenters@gmail.com and providing the following information:

  • Your name

  • Phone number

  • Address, city

  • Any relevant documents

  • A brief description of your situation

  • Number of units in your building and the year it was built

  • Indicate if you are covered by rent control
